Launching Our Master Plan

Master Plan

Our students have been involved in developing a master plan for the College. Their insights, along with those of parents and staff, have been gathered to identify exciting areas for campus-wide development.

Our consultative master planning project, undertaken with grant money from the Australian Government, included much prayer, community discussion, analysis of current and future needs, and the expertise of experienced education architects. This enabled us to map out refurbishment and construction projects to replace temporary buildings, improve facilities, and provide for the growth to a six-stream school.

Major Master Plan Projects

Major projects identified:

  • New Junior Learning Centre: To house Years 1 and 2
  • More classrooms in Primary and learning spaces in Secondary
  • Grace House Extension: A larger Primary Library and Health Bay, and to house the Uniform Store
  • Performing Arts Theatre
  • Second Sports Hall

Currently, we have six classes from Year 4 to Year 12 and need to expand to accommodate a sixth class for Prep to Year 3. Planning is underway on the Junior Learning Centre and sixth  Prep classroom, which will commence construction in 2026 for occupation in 2027.

Afterwards, another project will see 12 new classrooms created for Years 3 and 4. A green play space will be added, followed by the Grace House extension, a larger Primary Library, and Health Bay, plus the Uniform Store. This will allow for the removal of the temporary buildings in front of College Hall.

The next three projects include new learning spaces in Secondary (re-imagining F Block), a performing arts theatre and a second sports hall near the oval. Sports and arts continue to be of great importance, and the increased provision of purpose-built facilities will enable our students to further develop their God-given gifts and talents.

Master Plan in action

Our first Master Plan project begins this year with a new Secondary Student Centre to support our growing numbers. It will include facilities for pastoral care, additional needs, and amenities. This renovation, as well as the shade cover for the two basketball courts, are projects scheduled for completion this year in readiness for 2026.

Inviting the Voice of the Community

Working in unity means understanding the needs of each student and every department. Our second strategic goal is ‘cultivating an environment for our students to learn, grow, and encounter with God’. To achieve this goal, we consulted our students, staff and parents. We are so blessed to have students of great character, dedicated staff, and parents committed to developing their children’s potential.

In praying and listening to the Lord, a clear message was received – use what is in your hand. We want to be good financial stewards of what we have been entrusted with and create a campus that will provide for the current and future needs of our students.

We are excited for this next season of growth and rejoice at being able to provide these necessary facilities for our students. We deeply appreciate the generous donations from our staff and families through the Day of Giving, which will be utilised for these projects. You will have the opportunity to support these exciting initiatives during this year’s Day of Giving.
